Decatur – Dixie Sue Davis, 58, of Decatur passed away at 5:20 p.m., Wednesday December 22, 2010 in her residence.
A celebration of Dixie’s life will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday December 27, 2010 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. till service time on Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.
Dixie was born March 20, 1952 in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of William and Sue (Potter) Inman. She married Raymond L. Davis on November 21, 1983. She was a homemaker. Dixie enjoyed computers and also attending her son’s softball games.
Surviving is her husband: Raymond of Decatur; mother: Sue Inman of Decatur; sons: David Moore of Decatur and William Moore of Decatur; brothers: Randy Inman and his wife Jane of Sullivan and Kevin Inman and his wife Kathy of Lincoln; stepson: James Davis of Arkansas; step-daughter: Jacinda Hearnley and her husband Stacey of Danville; special grandchildren:
Isabella, Ethan, Ian, Cannon, and Kaley.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother and one niece.

Momma you were my rock and my guiding light, you stuck by me through everything. i miss you more and more every day. I'm going to stay with daddy so i can make sure he is taken care of just for you.
